Child First Clinician – Full-Time (Two Positions - Open Spring 2026)
Location: Forsyth County (Open Spring 2026)

Child First is an evidence-based, home-based program serving children (prenatal to age 6) and their families. We strengthen caregiver-child relationships, promote healthy development, and connect families with the resources they need to succeed.
As a Child First Clinician, you’ll partner with a Family Resource Partner to deliver trauma-informed, relationship-based therapy (Child-Parent Psychotherapy / CPP) and care coordination — helping prevent serious mental health challenges, developmental delays, and family stress.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct assessments and deliver CPP in family homes
- Partner with a Family Resource Partner to design and implement family-centered treatment plans
- Support caregivers in understanding child development, reflecting on behavior, and building strong relationships
- Connect families with community services and supports
- Build relationships with early childhood providers, schools, and agencies
- Participate in reflective supervision and ongoing professional development
What You’ll Need
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Active NC license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or associate level)
- Experience working with young children and families in a clinical setting (birth–5 preferred)
- Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits

- Salary starting at $56K (associate) / $60K (fully licensed)
Training & Supervision
- Paid CPP training with roster status
- Free weekly clinical supervision (3 hours/week based on Child First Model)

Family Resource Partner – Full-Time (Two Positions - Open Spring 2026)

Help stabilize families and support young children — while growing in a role that values your skills and community connections.

At Family Solutions, we believe strong families build strong communities. As a Family Resource Partner, you’ll work alongside a Child First Clinician as part of a two-person team helping families with young children (prenatal to age 6).
Your role focuses on reducing family stress, strengthening caregiver skills, and connecting families to community resources. By supporting caregivers and stabilizing home environments, you create space for children to thrive and form secure, healthy attachments.

What You’ll Do
- Connect families with community-based services and supports
- Partner with the Clinician to develop and implement family-centered care plans
- Help families in times of urgent need (e.g., eviction prevention, housing stability)
- Strengthen caregiver executive functioning skills (planning, organizing, regulating emotions)
- Encourage reflective parenting and interactive play with young children
- Maintain documentation and track completion of assessments
- Participate in reflective supervision and Child First Learning Collaborative trainings
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in child development, psychology, nursing, human services, or related field
- Experience working with culturally diverse families and young children under six
- Knowledge of community-based services and supports (preferred)
- Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours (including at least one evening per week)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits
- Bilingual (Spanish, Portuguese, Creole, or other) highly valued
